NASCUS Cybersecurity Symposium

On March 24, the DCU published bulletin B-17-09 regarding the NASCUS Cybersecurity Symposium June 5-6 in San Diego, CA.  The bulletin is reprinted below.

Make plans to attend the NASCUS Cybersecurity Symposium San Diego, CA

Division of Credit Unions (DCU) encourages credit unions to continue training on cybersecurity. While there are many resources available to credit unions to enhance their cybersecurity preparedness, DCU wants to ensure credit unions know about the Cybersecurity Symposium presented by NASCUS and CUNA.

This excellent event, now in its fourth year, provides a venue for a tremendous exchange of information between regulators, credit union executives, and IT professionals responsible for credit union information security. The Symposium is appropriate for credit unions of all sizes, and professionals of all levels of expertise.

This year’s Symposium is emceed by CliftonLarsonAllen, features a keynote address from the renowned security expert and author Jim Stickley, and has more than a dozen other experts sharing their insights over the two days. Symposium attendees also qualify for 13 hours of CPE credits!

The fourth annual Cybersecurity Symposium will be held on June 5th and June 6th at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel in San Diego. The hotel rate is $225 per night (hotel room block code is NASCUS 2016), and the registration cost for the event is $900 for NASCUS and CUNA members. For non-NASCUS and non-CUNA members the cost is $1,050.
